The Ruby mountain range, with peaks above 11,000 feet, is located in the high desert of the Great Basin between the Sierra Nevada to the west and the Wasatch mountains of Utah to the east.

The snow conditions in the Rubies make for some of the greatest powder skiing in the world.

Moisture laden storms coming out of the Pacific Northwest sweep across the high desert of the Great Basin and drop an abundance of dry powder.

Our lodge, Reds Ranch, is patterned after the great hunting lodges of the northern Rockies and features 10 bedrooms in the main lodge .

Each bedroom or suite is tastefully furnished, with private bathroom facilities.

The main lodge with its stone fireplace and log structure also features a comfortable great room, billiards room, and library stocked with favorite novels.

Ruby Mountain Helicopter Skiing offers 3 day trips and 1 day trips on a space available basis.
