Northern Escape Heli-Skiing is nestled in northern British Columbia's famous Skeena Mountains and centered in the picturesque town of Terrace. We offer an intimate Heli-Skiing and Boarding experience that will make for lasting memories.

We offer 3, 4 and 7-day Heli-Skiing packages as well as the ultimate in Private Packages. We endeavor to provide you with a safe and exciting Heli-skiing and Boarding experience. You'll fly in cohesive groups of only six Heli-skiers/boarders in an Augusta Koala helicopter, the "Lamborghini" of helicopters. Each helicopter services a maximum of three groups in order to allow us greater mobility and to increase the terrain selection that is available for us to enjoy every day.

The terrain that is licensed to us exclusively is one of the largest in the world and encompasses more than 5,700 square km's. Imagine only 18 skiers in an area 1/8th the size of Switzerland. To date we have explored more than 250 runs and we are discovering new runs daily. Our closest runs are only minutes away from the lodge.

Our Lodge is located on the shores of the Skeena River and only 30 minutes from the Terrace Regional Airport. Access is quick and easy with a 2 hr flight north from Vancouver BC. We'll meet you at the airport and after a short drive you'll arrive at the lodge and welcomed with a great dinner and introduction to our program, our Guides, Air Crew and the rest of the staff. In the morning, your helicopter awaits just outside the door.

Northern Escape Heli- Skiing is a member of Heli Cat Canada (BCHSSOA). This association sets strict standards for operating a Helicopter and/or Snowcat Skiing area. Only by skiing/boarding with a member of the BCHSSOA can you be assured of certified ski guides who follow a strict set of operating procedures. In addition, we participate in the Canadian Avalanche Association Professional Members Industry Information Exchange (InfoEx) between backcountry skiing operators and, together with other leading Heli-Skiing/Boarding operators, we sponsor avalanche research projects with the University of Calgary.
